Anne Cunnyngham Russell, pianist, singer and teacher, earned Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts degrees in Piano Performance from San Francisco State University under the guidance of Carlo Bussotti.
She performed in piano master classes given by Ruth Harte, Gwendolyn Koldofsky (collaborative piano), Fernando Laires and Elizabeth Pridonoff. She also audited master classes given by Guido Agosti at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, Italy. She studied and performed chamber music through The Hartt School, University of Hartford in Siena, Italy.
Additional piano studies have been with Sylvia Jenkins, Fernando Laires and Nelita True.
Her principal teacher for vocal studies is Dewey Camp, Professor Emeritus from San Francisco State University. She performed in a vocal master class given by Lucine Amara from the Metropolitan Opera.
